Anybody that can provide som rear differential info.
I have bought a W124 housing (same width as the original 16V item) but with 3.92 gears.
I'll be building a complete refurbished rear subframe ready to bolt straight in car, hence I would like to keep the original un-molested.
I'll be fitting a Drexler LSD, but I have a problem deciding what to do about driveshafts.
On my W124 diff I have flanges with a PCD of 90mm where as the 16V flanges are 94mm.
I would like to change out the flanges for 16V ones, so can use standard driveshafts, but I can find them anywhere.
Anybody know the parts number or know if any other Mercedes cars use the same differential axles with a 94mm PCD flanges? Or can I order custom driveshafts in 16V length but for a 90mm diff flange ? Cheers
